How do you water the harvest spirits in harvest moon?

on tree of tranquility, you need both halves of the quilt, you hold your watering can and go up to the flower. If you look at the button guide in the top left corner, it should say "check" or whatever. Press a or that button, and the harvest Sprite should appear, and a cutscene will occur. The sprite will then tell you the ingredients for the rainbow, and you must find or make these and bring all of them to the sprite at once, and you should have your rainbow. P.s.
