the parsi sari is worn quite the same way as the gujarati sari. but with only difference that the pallu is brought longer on the front side in comparision to the gujarati one. the parsi pallu is kept below the knee. the traditional parsi blouses used to be quite long too , not like the short choli that is worn today . the garas in particular would be heavier to stay on the shoulder so a sari pin in different shapes or patterns is used to hold the sari there.
I could be far off the mark, so knowledgeable persons are welcome to make corrections to this humble guesswork of mine. I admit that I do not know its exact draping process, but being familiar with numerous other sari styles, I'm making a guesswork on its technique. I believe the Kandyan sari begins with a bunch of pleats with their upper border hanging out in the front. After this, wrap once clockwise around the waist, secure the arrangement with a square knot, similar to the Tamil Pinkosu sari. Follow this by draping over the right shoulder. Bring around the remaining fabric clockwise to the front and tuck the final edge neatly back in to the waistline, at the right hip.
