How the hair curls after wet depends on the type of hair they have. In some cases, their hair will curl after you wet it. In almost all cases, if they get a perm and wet their, it remains straight.

What you need to do is wash and condition the hair first. Fill the sink up with warm water and shampoo and gently swish your wig in the water. Gently squeeze the water out of your wig being carefull not to twist it then condition using your favorite conditioner then rinse. While the hair is still wet you should be able to curl the hair because while the hair is wet the synthetic fibers will not melt. Just make sure the curling iron is on the lowest setting.
