To win a battle you must identify your enemy and destroy him/her utterly. The alternative is to turn your enemy into your friend and ally - a much more ethical approach. So, in order to win a battle where you are deficient, is that you have to utilize your greatest weapon (your mind) and focus on improving or protecting your weaknesses and utilizing your strengths. This also implies that you will take advantage of your enemy's weaknesses, exploiting them at every opportunity, and avoiding or protecting yourself against their strengths. Take judo for instance, I believe the concept is to use the size and strength of your enemy against him (i.e. a great big beast of a man charges you and you use his momentum to create a great impact when you off-balance him and redirect him into.. say a wall for instance) - they key here is self defense.With most real life cases if you give them enough rope they will hang themselves. To make you enemy your friend is a challenge, but then you could always keep to the idea that the enemy of your enemy is your friend.
