Go to the mine, and use your hoe on the ground in there, you either get money, a necklace, a dress and some other girly stuff. I do this sometimes but I sell it, however you can give it to Muffy and she will really like you. If you buy the love band from the elves you can tell how much to give her. You have to keep on giving her stuff everyday... I got to like affection 5000 or something but I gave up and it declined... She will start to let u into her room and there will be some scenes where she says she likes u and stuff.... :)
