well, you have to have monster cards that work well with your spells and traps. depending on what deck you have and your strategy, the outcome is unpredictable. like in the yugioh 5ds theme song states,"if i win or if i lose just let destiny choose." so, if your battling someone with a newer deck (one with synchro monsters and tuner monsters) and you have the kind from long ago, you have a small chance of winning. or, you could be a seto kaiba kind of person who fools around with the opponent and when is in a tough spot, uses a great combination!

If you have a deck that needs monsters sent to the graveyard like a lightsworn deck, then you might win.

The EDH deck power calculator considers factors such as card synergy, mana curve, card advantage, and win conditions when determining the overall power level of a deck.
A best yugioh deck would be a deck that eliminates your opponents options. like a deck with jinzo and horus, the black flame dragon LV 8 both can stop your opponents spell and trap cards. also a deck with cards like needle worm can discard your opponents deck so when they have no cards left you win.
I've found that in the Yu-Gi-Oh! video games you have to constantly change your deck. You can't make one recipe and hope to win the game. You have to change it based on your opponents deck.
The fastest Magic: The Gathering deck for competitive play is typically considered to be the "Belcher" deck, which focuses on quickly generating mana and casting a powerful spell to win the game in just a few turns.
My favourite deck to use against any deck is a 40 card deck with 3 Heart of the Underdog, the five pieces of Exodia, and 32 other normal monsters. You are guaranteed to win the duel in like three or four turns. I won the 1999 world championships with the same deck I just tipped you.
yes, because reducing the amount of unnecessary cards in your deck increases the chances of drawing ones you need to win
