Open up the ceiling box and disconnect the blue wire coming from the light and connect it to the black wire coming from the fan. Be sure and put a wire nut on the wire where the light was connected before you removed it. The wall switch is controlling power to the wire where the fan is connected so when you connect the blue fan wire to that connection you will be sending power to both the fan and light from the wall switch.
Just wire it to a toggle switch. When you need it, just flip the switch.

This is the fan connection. Connect the red to blue fan wire and this is the light on the fan connection.

One can easily be installed. Locate the wire that runs to the water temp sensor. Splice this wire to a switch and then off to a ground. When you flip the switch it will ground the wire and make the fan come on. Do not get confused with the oil temp sensor. It controls the HOT oil light, not the fan.
I assume you are wanting to manually control the fan. Just run a positive wire from the battery to the toggle switch line side. Then run another wire from the toggle switch load side to the fan. Ground the fan at the fan location. Be sure and use a large enough gage wire to handle the current and an in line fuse to protect the circuit.

to shut the fans on and off by yourself. remove the connector for the wires at the fan. hook a wire from the positive on fan motor to the inside toggle switch, do not hook to switch yet. run a wire from the positive on battery, hook to battery after hooking up switch. hook up the wires to the switch. then the battery. its up to you if you want to install a 15 amp fuse in line from battery to toggle switch.. you can also get the power from the fuse box instead of the battery. this should work for you. if not you may need to ground the other fan wire.
