Well, for starters, you will need to know where your fuse box is. Not to mention, each and every model of a car will have to be wired differently.
Hooter? Hmm, never heard of any part on a car called a hooter.
you have to bypass the relay with another wire. which means find the positive and negative leads on the relay which goes from you power source to you fuel pump, take the extra wire and put one end on the positive and the other on the negative "of the relay" and start the car. if the car stays on you found your problem.
CK THE ASD RELAY IN THE FUSE BOX UNDER THE HOOD-SWITCH IT WITH THE A/C RELAY TO SEE IF THE CAR STARTS ON ITS OWN-
Yes all car horns have a separate fuse for their operation.
It is not advisable to install a car horn without a relay. The current draw of a horn is too much to run directly through the car and horn switch. Relays are used on items that have a high current draw for this reason. It is an unsafe practice to not use a relay in these conditions. You would not want to catch your car on fire.
I have a 1987 mercury sable the fuel relay in combined with other relays mounted on top of the radiator. If you look in your car manual under engine control diagram find the fuel pump relay wire color code, match it to the wire coming out of the relay mounted on top of the radiator its probably there.
Replace the main window switch in driver door
You can remove the relay and take it to any auto parts store i.e Napa, Autozone, Advanced auto parts, And they can test the relay for you. Is your car not starting? What you can do is touch the relay with it plugged into the connector and have someone turn your car on (not crank it) you should feel the relay click. If it doesn't click, then the relay is not coming on. I am currently having the same problem with my Camaro except, my relay is good, but there is no power going to the relay. There is one wire that should be consistently hot, usually an orange wire, or in my case, red. If you unplug the relay and use a mutlimeter to check the terminals on the relay connector, there should be one terminal that gets voltage with the car off, if nothing, then relay is not your problem. The problem is in the connector or wiring.
A good way to fine the horn relay if you dont have a manual is to pull the wire on the horn then have somewon press the horn button .... beep beep beep you will hear a clicking sound which will help you locate the relay
The wire to the relay grounded somewhere. Take it to a garage to get it checked out.
headlight relays (nxt to battery) or the actual switch in the car ...check you have 12v at the red wire behind the switch...could even be the switchable relay the headlight wires run to with a purple an white wire
There is a relay box between your main fuse box and the air box. Little black number with 3 relays in it. In there is the wiper relay, main relay and the fuel pump relay. The main relay has a large red wire and should be closest to the front of the car. The fuel pump relay should be the middle one.
