find an alternator rebuild shop around town and buy a new voltage regulator with your old prong setup. they're like 10 bucks.
hey i dont know about the wires but im tryong to fix mine 2 gah its giving me hell
You take off the Intake Manifold with all the wires and stuff connected to it, lay it on the engine with some wires attached on it( u dont need to take eveything off), and start dismanlting the turbo, there are a couple of screws that will make your life difficult though.
if the flanges match up for the exhaust side and the dump pipe then there is no problem. you will also need to see if the oil and water ( where applicable because some turbos dont have water cooling ) lines match up and are secure.
you dont.
no it doesn't so dont by thi7
Replace the exaust manifold with Turbo charger and dont forget to install the oil line to the turbo otherwise u will ruin the turbo as of dryness.
You dont unless you live in Europe. Turbo bricks shows ppl using the turbo setup from 740 TD.
no it doesn't so dont by thi7
technically yes, but dont!
some simple machines do need wires and some dont
No none of the vr6 were ever turbo charged from the factory. I mean you can put a turbo on them but they are all N/A which just means they dont have a forced induction system. They do make a twin turbo vr6 in Europe.
losen and pull off belt by using the tensioner( right above AC if you have it) dont do it wile the truck is running. disconect wires unbolt aternator, then do it backwrds with the new one instead
