I recently installed a pair of 12" Infinity subwoofers in my 2000 Gramd AM. I ran the power wire from the battery on the driver's side of the car to the amp. I ran the audio wires and the antenna wireon the passenger side of the car. You should put the wires on opposite sides of the car, to reduce static that can be caused from the electromagnetic field produced by the large amount of power running through the power wire. Hook up the audio wires, antenna wire, and power wire to the amp. Then all you have to do is connect your amp to your subs. GrandAMMAn
Just look at one and you will have your answer.

There are many different ways that you could wire two dual voice coil subwoofers. Depending on how you connect the voice coils, you could have 1ohm (all coils in parallel), 4ohms (parallel-series combination). Technically you could wire them for 16ohms (all in series), but this isn't done in practice because an amplifier won't provide much power to a 16ohm load. You should wire the subwoofers to make an impedance (which is the 'ohms') which will match your amplifier. Not all amplifiers can handle 1ohm, so you may need to wire the subwoofers for 4ohms. Be sure to do some research on this before wiring anything up or you could damage your amplifier. no its the red one
Check the amplifier used for the subwoofers. Most amplifiers have a 'protect' light that will light up if the subs are wired wrong, if the power wire or ground isn't sufficient, if the amplifier overheats, or if the amplifier is blown. Check your ground wire to see if it has come loose, a simple self tapping screw isn't sufficient to hold the ground lug in place. Also check the wiring for the subwoofers, if spade terminals are used they can come loose, which would blow the mosfets on the amplifier internals.
Yes it's easy to remove amplifiers from your car. First make sure the fuse is out of the power wire , so the wire is not live. Then disconnect the wires from your amp. Then unscrew the amp from where it's mounted.
you need an amplifier first. decide where you want the amp, and wire it to that point. (amp comes with instructions for the wiring) once the amp is wired in, wire it to the radio(instructions come with amp) and screw it in. then locate where you want the sub(s) and wire it to that from the amp. almost all your instructions for installing subwoofers comes with the amp.
Subwoofers will need to be supplemented with larger auditions to an audio system when they are install in a 1997 Honda Civic. Properly wire the units into the audio system. Be sure to upgrade the ground so the larger additions will not burn anything out. Make sure the subwoofers are also safely mounted to the car.
the smaller the wire the less amps it will send to you amplifier.
water temp sensor wire grounding out could cause this problem.
Remove the spark plug wire from your 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis. Remove the spark plug with a 5/8 deep well socket, white turning it to the left. Reverse the process to put in the new spark plug.
Disconnect your battery, then remove the two nuts from the starter wire harness. Pull the wire and cable of the studs. Remove starter bolts and slide starter out of bellhosing.
