In the numerical amount field, write XXX.00. In the written amount field, you would usually write "XXXXX and 00/100" but could also write "XXXXX even" or "XXXXX and no cents". For example, to write a check for one hundred dollars and no cents, you could put:
One hundred and 00/100
One hundred even
One hundred and no cents
Since your written amount line probably says "dollars" at the end of it, the first example makes the most sense.
This is 89 cents and would be written on a check as: 89/100 dollars
One hundred and ninety dollars and zero cents
one hundred and fifty-nine dollars and ninety-one cents for example
seven hundred seventy six and ten cents only
Use this format for the 'cents' portion: 50/100 (this example is 50 cents). If there is no cents amount, for example $150.00, then then cents would be written as 00/100The full amount of $150.00 would be written as: One hundred fifty and 00/100
thirteen thousand and fifteen dollars no cents
thirteen thousand and fifteen dollars no cents
Fifty dollars seventy one cents.
Four hundred and fifteen dollars and no cents
This is 89 cents and would be written on a check as: 89/100 dollars
To write a check for 6 cents, start by writing the dollar amount in numerical form in the small box on the right side of the check. In this case, write "0.06". Then, write the dollar amount in words on the line below the recipient's name. In this case, write "Six cents". Finally, sign the check in the bottom right corner and include any necessary memo or note on the memo line.
$1.50To write a check: One and 50/100 dollars
Eleven Thousand and 00./100 cents.
You would write "Three hundred eighty two dollars and 86/100 cents".
Thirteen thousand, seven hundred dollars and no cents
Eight hundred nine and 88/100 dollars
One hundred and ninety dollars and zero cents
