Think of an idea for a story. It doesn't have to be good or anything. Then, quickly write the story. Obviously, since you rushed it isn't that good. Read over it. Then, make some changes and add more. After you added a lot, read over it again. Correct some mistakes and make some changes and add more. Repeat this a bunch of times... That's how I do it and I usually finish a decent novel in about a week! :)
