How do you write an essay for summer vacation?

Well, one of the very first assignments teachers will give, is the famous " Summer Essay" where you have to write about your summer time, and what you did.

For some people this can be quite difficult, but it will easier to complete, once you have broken the essay down to simpler steps.

1st- Get the right information.

You always must be very clear on what is expected of you on this essay. ( do you have to write about your whole summer, or just 1 trip?) Also, know the details ( How many pages/words long, font etc..)

2nd- Be prepared

To write a good summer essay you must know what you have to put in it. Make a list of all the places you have visited, or things you have done in very simple jot notes, then you can begin!

3rd- Organize your paper

You must know where to put your information on the paper. The 1st paragraph contains a summary of everything you will write in you paper, keep it short but interesting, as it is the first paragraph (very important)

The body consists of all the places you have been and things you have done. Remember to use good adjectives when describing places.

The last paragraph gives your overall impression on your summer vacation, and what you are looking forward to in whatever grade you are in.

4th- Cover

Presentation is important. make a suitable cover page for your essay. Keep your cover simple, with a title, your name, class, teacher's name, and a picture relating to your summer in the middle.

5th- Review

Review your paper to spell check, and be prepared to hand it in.
