To craft a book and quill:
1) Open inventory (Press E)
2) Place book in upper right corner of crafting box.
3) Place feather in the bottom right corner.
4) Place ink sac in top left corner.
5) Pull the Book & Quill out of the crafting box.

∙ 12y agoYou cannot write a book in minecraft, you have to craft it. In order to craft it, you need to put 3 paper in the middle column of the crafting table's craft area.
