Ka <- 'a' like in father

WA <- same 'a'

ii <- long 'e'

Kah-wah-ee

Although it can sound a bit more like

Kah-why-ee sometimes.

All Japanese vowels are always pronounced the same way, although when next to other vowels and/or spoken quickly, it can sound like there are different pronunciations.
