When the question says "Write your answer in terms of pi.", it means that if you
worked the problem correctly, then you had to use (pi) to solve it, and (pi) appears
in the answer you have. They're telling you that it's OK to just leave it that way ...
you don't have to keep going and figure out what the number is after you plug in
the numerical value of (pi).

If you are trying to find the circumference of a circle, then you would do the first step (Pi x Diameter or Radius x 2= Diameter so Pi x Diameter) Then you would get your answer, for example pi x 5= 5π and because 5π is the unsimplified answer the answer in terms of pi is simply 5π

It is approx 45*pi
Pi times the diameter.
785.398163397, or, in terms of pi: 250pi

you find the answer without multiplying by pi and leave the pi sign in your answer
cos(x) = sin(pi/2-x) = -sin(x-pi/2)
Leaving in terms of pi means, through out the whole answer you have the pi symbol when you sub and compute. So basically heres an example: 2pir r=14 2pi14 28pi your answer is 28 with the pi symbol on the right but I dont know how to write it on the computer was that of help?
in terms of pi- when using the symbol for pi instead of 3.14 or 22/7 in the end result of an equation
It is approx 45*pi
Pi times the diameter.
Pi is approximately 3.1415
1/4 pi to find the degree in terms of pi, divide the degree by 180 in this example, 45 / 180 = 1/4
This is normally expressed in terms of the radius: area = pi x radius2.This is normally expressed in terms of the radius: area = pi x radius2.This is normally expressed in terms of the radius: area = pi x radius2.This is normally expressed in terms of the radius: area = pi x radius2.
