One way is to hold down your Ctrl button with one hand while moving the scroll wheel on your mouse with the other. The text on your screen will enlarge if you roll the wheel forward, and reduce if you roll it backward. Change accordingly

I think that some informations are missing in your question. Do you want to resize images? Pictures? Or are you referring to images displayed on browsers... If you use Firefox, go to "View", on the "menu bar", you'll find "Zoom" . Use Ctrl(+)+ to increase, and Ctrl(+)- to decrease. You also can adjust the size of the text only. The same procedure applies to IE also.
