The hypothalamus in the brain sends signals to the pituitary gland to release antidiuretic hormone (ADH) in response to changes in blood concentration. ADH then signals the kidney to reabsorb water, helping regulate the body's fluid balance.
Anti-diuretic hormone (or ADH) is released by the pituitary gland to encourage the kidneys to reabsorb water.
pituitary gland :)
ADH (Antidiuretic hormone). ADH is secreted in the pituitary gland and it works by increasing the amount of water reabsorbed in the kidney and hence, less urine is produced.
ADH stands for antidiuretic hormone, also known as vasopressin. It is a hormone produced by the hypothalamus and released by the pituitary gland. ADH plays a role in regulating the amount of water reabsorbed by the kidneys, and helps to control the concentration of urine.
A hormone called ADH harmone. This harmone is secreted by Pituitary gland and it controls the absorbtion of water in the renal tubules of kidney. When water is difficient, more ADH is secreted and vise versa
ADH is produced by the hypothalamus and stored in the posterior pituitary gland.
Antidiuretic hormone (ADH), also known as vasopressin, is necessary for water reabsorption in the kidney. ADH acts on the collecting ducts of the nephron to increase their permeability to water, allowing it to be reabsorbed back into the bloodstream.
