Artemis is a ancient Greek goddess, whom we know of now because of discovering the religion of ancient Greece. She relates because many aspects of her character are seen in women today, and in literature and movies and these aspects are drawn upon and remembered by a wide range of people today, as most students study Greek myths. She is, for example, remembered in animal rights, in woman's rights, and in many activists names that might use her remembered as a deity.
