Everyone will respond differently. But physically most will experience blood in the urine this is often times painless. Some will experience lower Back pain. The blood will increase in amount and will vary with bladder contractions. The patient may become frightened and or confused others will be in denial. Towards the end their breathing will become labored and they will loose control of their bladder. The kidneys will not be able to filter the amount of pain medsf out of their system as well as other toxic substances made by the body in the course of natural metabolism and these by products will reach toxic levels. This does not in any way mean reduce their pain management but only a glimpse in to what is going to happen to them. Once the kidneys fail most patients survive 7 to 10 days. Remember dying is a natural part of the process.
