Direct TV has more choices for the dollar. It offers more channels and events that are not available on cable but you miss out on local channels.
Direct TV� more channels and more are added daily for the same price you are paying. Cable... more reliable and you know what you are getting when you pay for it and no extra equipment to install (i.e. a dish).
I don't like Direct TV because of the service being hindered if the weather is bad. I know they say this doesn�t happen and/or they are fixing it but I lived in a small town and this was my only TV option and the wind effected what channels I would and would not get. There are more channels which is great but I'd take digital cable with my clear picture, local channels and reliability any day.
