There are many local accents in England, many would pronounce 'Christmas' differently from others. Many might drop the 't' in the middle.

answer: actually when i was in England they said it was x-mas. x-mas is short for chirstmas. most of the words are spelled the same and pronounced the same in England. my favorite country to visit

In my part of England people say Christmas, even though it is often written Xmas. Most people slur over the 't'.
