Ezekiel chap 37 has two main divisions
The Vision of the Valley of Dry Bones (37:1-14)
The Reunification of Israel and Judah (37:15-28)
In the first section 37:1-8 Ezekiel saw the dry bones of Israel and Judah in a valley. He was ordered to prophesy to the bones that they would come to life.
The first time he spoke the Word of God, the sinews, flesh and skin came upon the bones.
The second time he prophesied to the wind or breath, and the breath came into the bodies. This pictured the national restoration of Israel.
This could be a picture the regeneration of any unbeliever. There must be the word of the Lord (v. 4) and the Spirit (breath) of God (v. 9).
Not so easy to get an application from the second section.
Ezekiel 37
Ezekiel turned the bones into flesh. It sounds impossible but may be possible for him by his strong powers.
That is the subject of one of the chapters in Ezekiel (ch.37).
Ezekiel Cheever was born on July 1, 1655, so at the time of the trials he was at the ages of 36-37.

An example of a living symbol used by Ezekiel is the Valley of Dry Bones, found in Ezekiel 37. In this vision, Ezekiel sees a valley filled with dry bones representing the people of Israel, symbolizing their spiritual death and hopelessness. God commands Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones, and as he does, they come to life, illustrating the promise of restoration and revival for the nation. This powerful imagery emphasizes God's ability to bring life and hope to a seemingly dead situation.
Christian evangelism was legislated against by the Israeli government in December 1977
