"Friends of the Earth" and "Earthwatch" are about as far away from "science" as you can get. Those organizations are ENTIRELY focused on left-wing political activity. Some people call them "watermelons"; green on the outside, but red on the inside.

However, Friends of the Earth campaigns on a great many issues using information provided by 'science' and influences against political decisions that may be made to the detriment of the planet, often by right-wing or fascist governments and sometimes by left-wing or socialist ones.
Likewise, Earthwatch has a stated mission...
"...to engage people worldwide in scientific field research and education to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment. "
Environmental science is a category of Earth science, dealing with the study of landscapes and organisms on the Earth.
Yes. It is a sub-category of earth science.
they are both somewhat the same. environmental science just a form of earth science

Environmental science.
Yes. earth science has different branches - meteorology - oceanographic - environmental science - geology - astronomy
The four branches of science are the Environmental-science, Earth-science, Life-science, and physical-science.
The difference is that environmental science is just one of the many branches, or sub-categories of science. Think of science as the tree and one of its major branches is Earth Sciences, and branching from that, environmental science.
