Answer # 3

God's covenant is to write His Laws in our hearts and minds of believers so that Laws can be fulfilled. Then He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to show mankind the way to teach God's Laws and to fulfill them in actual living. The entire Life of Jesus shows us the Way, the Truth, and the Life in the Kingdom of God. Jesus studied the Scriptures for 18 years. Then he fulfilled the laws. God showed through His Son that the way is love. For God is love. ( 1 John 4: 8) To love God is to know Jesus by studying the Scriptures, and to follow the way taught by Jesus. To set Jesus Himself as the model of all who believe in attaining Eternal Life, he presented himself like an innocent lamb to be sacrificed for the salvation of man, and to show the glory of His resurrection. For this is the reward of faith in God, faith in Jesus, and obedience to God's laws.

Today, there is no need of any further sacrifice of life like Jesus did because he has already done the ultimate sacrifice. Just believe in and obey Jesus so that you will be saved.

New Living Translation (©2007) For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God

The Abrahamic covenant points to the King (Jesus Christ) and to his corulers in God's Kingdom, and it forms the legal foundation of the Kingdom of the heavens. (Hebrews 6:13-18) How long will this covenant stay in effect? It is "an everlasting covenant," states Genesis 17:7. It remains in effect until the Messianic Kingdom destroys God's enemies and all the families of the earth have been blessed. (1 Corinthians 15:23-26) In fact, those who will then live on earth will benefit in an everlasting way. God's covenant with Abraham shows that Jehovah is determined to fulfill his purpose that righteous humans "fill the earth"!-Genesis1:28.

What do Catholics believe in linking Judaism Christianity and Islam?

Catholicism is nothing other than Judaism fulfilled. Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ, was a Jew and He was God, He came and fulfilled the old covenant to the letter, and established the new and everlasting covenant. To the best of my knowledge, I have never heard of a Catholic linking Islam with either Judaism or Christianity, although I believe the secular press does because they view all three as Abrahamic religions.
