Lady Macbeth uses manipulation, persistence, and persuasion to get Macbeth to continue with the plan to kill Duncan. She tries to tell him that he would be less of a man if he didn't and that their lives would be less complicated without Duncan around.
Lady Macbeth persuades Macbeth to continue with the plan by questioning his masculinity and implying that he would be a coward if he didn't follow through. She manipulates his insecurities and ambition to push him into taking action. She also reassures him that they will not fail and convinces him that the rewards of becoming king are worth the risk.
She desires the kingship for him and wants him to murder Duncan in order for Macbeth to obtain it. Not only that, but Macbeth has a weak will, and Lady Macbeth, being determined and intelligent, manages to persuade the indecisive Macbeth to commit regicide.
Lady Macbeth uses flattery when she is trying to manipulate her husband, Macbeth, into going through with their plan to kill King Duncan. She praises his manhood and bravery to persuade him to take action.
The reaction between Lady Macbeth and Macbeth is initially very different after they kill Duncan. Lady Macbeth is enthusiastic but Macbeth regrets his actions.
