Thats what Santa's reindeers do. There's no scientific explanation for that and noone will ever find one.

Flying reindeers are also very fast. They have to be incredibly fast because Santa only has so little time to visit every person on this planet.

They also have to get faster every year, because the number of people on this earth increases every second ... Theres a direct correlation between the number of people and the speed of the reindeers.
