The four winds, like it says in the will. 'The one who ears the windfall will be the one to find the FOURTH.' Four people. In the end Sam Westing finally dies of old age, with the now adult Turtle by his bedside.

The heirs excuse was that they didnt here the word because Sandy distracted them from the real game as EDgar J Plum was reading the will. Angela gives up bombing and becomes a doctor and continues her relationship with Denton after they break up. Grace Wexler takes over Mr.Hoo's restauraunt, and he becomes an inventor. Madame Hoo becomes fluent in English and gives up stealing. Doug breaks the state running record a jj Ford becomes a pro judge in the supreme court. Jake is in charge of the state lottery and sandy fakes death and turns out to be sam westing, sandy mcsouther, Julian r eatman, and barney northrup. he dies as Julian r eastman and turtle win sthe game
