Many of us are familiar with scripture classes. Depending on the ages of the children, the Christian educator, whether lay or clerical, teaches passages from The Bible or simple Bible stories. This is a wholly appropriate activity that many school systems regard as an important part of a child's education - subject to parental approval.
Of course, for a Christian educator to improperly attempt to teach religion during the course of of other classes such as science, would at best be deception and at worst coercive indoctrination. This may be against the wishes of the children or of their parents, and many Christians would regard deception and coercive indoctrination to be sins.
