They come in a various amout depending if they are good or not. Good Bagpipes will start around $900 for delrin pipes (a synthetic material; what clarinets are made of) and go up from there. You can spend lots of money for cosmetics, such as silver mounts, but you don't need to. There are no bargains. Ebay is filled with cheap pipes that will not work, especially those made in Pakistan. Two rules; 1) buy from a reputable bagpipe dealer or you will get stuck 2) avoid the tempting deals you will see on ebay.

It's usually around £600, or £700 if you would like them engraved. This is for Fletcher bagpipes. I recommend the engravings. I have a set myself and in my opinion they are well worth the extra £100. It may not make a difference to the sound, but it makes them a whole lot more attractive! Especially when they have been nicely polished up :)

Depends on whether you want a real set of bagpipes, or a bagpipe shaped piece of wood. You could get a set of good bagpipes for about $1000 USD, Although if you're lucky you can probably get one for cheaper at a flea market or something.
