The wind is just a big convection current created by the sun. The sun heats up the atmosphere, and the hot air rises up (because hot air is lighter than colder/normal air) and colder air rushes in to replace it therefore, generating wind. I hope I have helped:).
Wind can be used to create electricity which in turn can be used to create heat.
The energy to create wind comes from solar energy.
Yes. Air rising in one place due to convection will cause air to move inwards from the surrounding air to replace it. Fundamentally though, wind is caused by a difference in air pressure from one place to another.
wind energy ,hydro energy, fossil fuels, wood etc.
The Coriolis Effect is the phenomenon that effects global winds. A convection cell is a form of wind and this is the first part of the coriolis effect.
matter or the quantity of matter evaporated or passed off in vapor.

why is there not one single convection cell that stretches from the poles to the equator
Tornadoes have nothing to do with protecting Earth from the solar wind. Convection currents in Earth's core create a magnetic field that protects against the solar wind.
Not conduction, but convection currents, are what drive winds and many ocean currents.
It turns because a convection cell is one big loop of a convection current

To create a wind turbine and photo voltaic cell hybrid model to generate 2 watt power you must set up a photo-voltaic solar-cell array and a mast mounted wind generator.
yes. because the air move due to pressure and convection. the movement of air is wind.
