The dragonfly has adapted to the environment by evolving unique eyes that allow it to hunt very efficiently. They also have a smaller body size than their ancestors which allows the to fly faster and hunt less to support themselves.

Dragonflies don't adapt but are born in water so they naturally know what to do. They do however grow older and come onto land where they become the dragonflies we see to today.
