The skin is composed of thin membranous tissue that is semi-permeable to water and contains a large network of blood vessels. The thin membranous skin is allows the respiratory gases to readily diffuse directly down their gradients between the blood vessels and the surroundings. When the frog is out of the water, mucus glands in the skin keep the frog moist, which helps absorb dissolved oxygen from the air.

This hideous fungus attaches to the frogs skin, and begins to grow on the frog. The frog now being covered with fungus finds it difficult to breath. So basically it kills them because they cant breathe.
frogs often survive the brutality and harshness of winter to live another year. Even though frogs are small and delicate creatures, they are tough and hardy. So hardy, that frogs can withstand being frozen solid. To most animals, including humans, being frozen solid would mean certain death.
Frogs with long tongues eat prey that is far away. Frogs (such as Ground Frogs) that eat prey close to them (such as ants) don't have long tongues.so they can catch tings from further away with out being noticed
Frogs have adapted in their eye placement, which helps them easily find food and avoid predators. They are camouflaged to blend in with their surroundings and have developed very powerful legs to allow for long jumps.
I know for a fact that salt does indeed affect frogs; from my observations it appears as though the salt burns the frogs and they will run off in search of water to wash the salt away. As to exactly how it works...I currently am researching that answer myself.

They are an advantage for the frog because frogs have poorly developed eyelids that don't close all the way when their eyes are pushed out of their skull. Therefore, during resting periods, they can protect their eyes by pulling them into their sockets. ( http://www.microscopyu.com/galleries/confocal/frogeye40x.html)
