Feeding
Hawks like to feed in all kinds of animals and insects for example: bats, rats, mice, gophers, rabbits, lizards, Snakes and grasshoppers. The hawk hunts in a big group so the hunting would be easier.
First, what do you mean by baby? Is it a nestling, not yet feathered? If it is nearly feathered, the parents will still feed it on the ground. If it is an orphan, call a raptor rehabilitator or wildlife rescue. Some hawks are protected by federal or state law and it is illegal to posess any part of them.
I'm not sure how to feed a baby red-tailed hawk. In the wild, they eat regurgitated meat from small vertebrates. If it's important for you to know, you should probably contact your local Humane Society. They should be happy to help.
best way is feed them with fresh quails ,but be cerful of many deseases carried by quails, i do this with my two peregrine in Egypt .

A rabbit eats grass, and a hawk eats a rabbit. This is called a food chain or a food web. A rabbit is an herbivore. A rabbit eats plants to obtain energy. The hawk doesn't eat plants. The hawk eats the rabbit, and when an animal eats another animal to obtain energy, the consumer of the animal is called a carnivore. This is also an example of predation.
