theyre pretty intelligent really, they can clasp with their front paws like we can with hands so they basically hold their food, leaves etc, with their paws and eat it =]

The Kangaroo's skin is short, about an inch long on the back. I think they are soft, I can't remember exactly (I got to pet and feed a kangaroo group) but i think they were soft to the touch.
