Winning lost souls to Jesus christ
Every wayward cat is lost until they have accepted Jesus Christ as their lord and savior.
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Well, According to The Lost Books of The Bible, He did, twice, as a child.
Not exactly sure what you mean. If you mean when a person dies, do they realize how much they have/haven't become like Christ? Yes, they'll find that out during the Judgement Seat of Christ. But if you are asking do they realize this right after they die? No, they're stepping into heaven and greeting their Friend, Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords! They are too busy worshiping Him, thanking Him, enjoying Him, being in His presence and being with their family and friends. God will transform us to be like Jesus regardless of what you did in this life. Christlikeness in this life is for the sake of knowing God better now, understanding His will, preparing for eternity and for revealing Jesus to the lost.
The same as one could gain today if they believe and follow Jesus......eternal life! Many of the early Christians lost their lives here on earth spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and gained life everlasting in Heaven. Jesus said in Mattew 10:39 "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he who loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
The cross of Jesus Christ is not located in one specific place today. The original cross on which Jesus was crucified is believed to have been lost or destroyed. However, crosses are used as symbols in churches and religious settings around the world to represent the sacrifice and teachings of Jesus.
to evangelize in the name of Jesus Christ to a lost and spiritualy dying world
Jesus is Gods son and he came to earth to save sinners, so that not a single soul should be lost.
Jesus had brothers and sisters they were James, Jude and a sister called Salomi. We read about them in the bible as they watched with Mary when Jesus was put on the cross. Please note , we do not hear of Joseph after the incident when Jesus gets lost and is in the temple.
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that Jesus Christ is the founder of their faith. They believe that Jesus Christ came to Joseph Smith, Jr in the 1820's and restored the original doctrine and authority of Christianity which was lost near the time of the death of the original Apostles.
