Muskoxen don't kill polar bears. A polar bear has too thick of fur and a layer of fat to be killed by a muskox. It can, however, be wounded if gored by a muskox's horns.
A polar bear looks for a young muskox that is away from the group of muskox. If it cannot, the polar bear would usually attack and kill an injured or a weak adult. A polar bear would not attack a healthy muskox.
The polar bear, the Arctic fox and the wolf will scavenge at times.
Arctic wolves are the most common predator to the muskox. Polar bears will also hunt and kill muskox.
Yes. Polar bears weigh 1100 pounds to over 2000 pounds if they are very very large. Muskox weigh up to 880 pounds.
No way, a polar bear couldn't harm a fly!!!!
The tusks of the walrus could kill the bear, but if the polar bear can get past the tusks it could kill the walrus.
The only animal that will kill and eat a polar bear, excluding man, is the orca. Orcas will occasionally kill and eat a swimming polar bear.
If a pack of wolves can kill a grizzly then it can kill a polar bear!!!
The polar bear. It is very large, very strong, very beastly, and very powerful. Since polar bears kill beluga whales, walruses, and muskox, it would have no problem with an ox.Another opinion:I absolutely disagree with the answer above! Oxen have HORNS, for heavens sakes, not those small little things on a muskox's head; to mention he has a size advantage over the muskoxen, and four feet to maneuver on in comparison with a beluga whale and a walrus! Those horns will do some MAJOR damage to the polar bear before the bear gets a chance to get back at it. Oxen are powerful animals, not something to be reckoned with, that's for sure!!
oh , that's simple. A polar bear can kill you.
Orcas will occasionally kill and eat a polar bear.
A young one, but not an adult one since the muskox has such thick fur to protect itself from blizzards, wolves, and polar bears. The muskox has a weight advantage of 880 pounds, whereareas the siberian tiger has a weight of 600 to 650 pounds. The muskox's weight would make it very hard for the siberian tiger to bring it down. Also, if the siberian tiger gets near the muskox, the muskox could kill it with a gore of a horn or a headbutt.
