Negative feedback is something that reduces the output of a system. In animal system it is a decrease in function in response to a stimulus.
It brings back a reaction to a set point. For example, your blood sugar has a certain range of values. When you drink or eat something with a lot of sugar in it, your body responds with the hormone insulin to bring the sugar level down towards the normal range.
If your sugar level drops too low below the normal level, your body will release another hormone called glucagon. This will bring the level back up toward the normal range.
It is a balance act and it is called homeostasis.

What is an example of construction feedback?

If your boss told you that you are a lazy person, that is not constructive feedback. Its negative feedback. If they however told you that you need to put more effort into your work by, say, come to work earlier, that would be constructive feedback.

The negative feedback mechanism is important in many biological processes. The process can be shut off by the accumulation of products further along in the process.

How does a biological negative feedback loop work?

Negative Feedback: Enzyme A makes Substance A when Substance A is not available in the Diet. When Substance A becomes available in the Diet, Enzyme A is no longer required and The Negative Feedback loop shuts down the production of Enzyme A.

Is the ADH feedback loop an example of positive or negative feedback?

The ADH feedback loop is an example of a negative feedback loop. Negative feedback loops occur when the output of a system acts to oppose the changes to the input of the system. This is the case with ADH because when there is not enough water, the hypothalamus and pituitary gland work to release ADH so that the body can retain more water.

How does negative feedback work?

To remove the distortion ... ANSWER: It does not reduce distortion but rather make the circuit stable. There can be distortion even with negative feedback by bad design in other word feedback does not reduce distortion.
