Planets are rotating, that is spinning, and they are also orbiting, going around, the sun.
rotation revolution
groundingradioactive ways
Of course the planet has only one position and velocity at any given moment, but that velocity can be the addition of several separate velocities. You have a velocity taking you round the Earth's centre every 24 hours at up to 1000 mph, and another one taking you round the Sun once a year, at 18 miles/second.

Belts and Zones
It's spherical and it orbits the sun.
Two ways Glaciers move is... 1.) The currents in the water their in 2.) They move on their own, but very slowly
They move away from each other in other words they are shifting.
You can move your body or shiver.
Rotation (i.e. how long it takes to turn around once - a day or 24 hours roughly) and Revolution (i.e. how long it takes to move around the Sun once - a year or 365.25 days approximately).
Actually three ways: on its axis, around the sun, and through space.
