The American actor Christopher Reeve was paralyzed and became a quadriplegic after an accident when he was thrown from a horse. He was wheelchair-bound for the rest of his life.
He was competing in a horseback riding event involving jumping the horse over obstacles. He was thrown when the horse clipped a fence. He suffered permanent spinal damage as a result leaving him a quadriplegic.
Depending on the tricks/ things that they do, probably a considerably high amount of money. But of course this will all be used up when you break your neck and spine, you're a quadriplegic in a wheelchair, and have very high medical bills.
The general term would be handicapped, or physically handicapped. Someone who has lost the use of their limbs is a paraplegic (legs, lower body) or quadriplegic (arms and legs). However there are many different types of afflictions that could land someone in a wheelchair, so this may not apply.

Yes. There is specialized equipment that will allow a quadripiplegic to use a computer. I used to work with one, so I know it's possible.
