It would definitely help keep the engine from overheating.
The cooling radiator needs to be used to keep the oil from overheating. If the lines are plugged, the engine could be ruined.
You don't need to keep your engine cool, Your car has a radiator system that will pump water/coolant to keep your engine cool. If you're engine is overheating, have someone who knows what they are looking for pinpoint the cause of the problem.
make sure that u have water in ur radiator and also check that the fan that cools the engine is working.
The cooling system in your car (radiator) cycles fluid (water with anifreeze/coolant) through your engine to keep it from overheating. It carries heat away from the engine.
To keep your engine from overheating the coolant runs from the radiator through the hoses into the block and back through the hoses into the radiator where it gets cooled by the fan and the air and starts the process all over again.
It changes the freezing and boiling point.
i have replace the thermostat, checked the fans, filled with water and it is still overheating. Very often, the waterpump leaks and stops working only years after it was last replaced. Coolant is probably not flowing from the engine to the radiator to be cooled.
IF IT WAS NOT OVERHEATING BEFORE THE HOSE WAS REPLACED -- MORE THAN LIKELY YOU HAVE AIR POCKETS TRAPPED IN YOUR COOLING SYSTEM
You bet! keep that baby full at all times
vapour pressure lowering
Radiator stores engine coolant for circulation throughout the engine The radiator is placed at the front of the engine and exposed to the atmosphere to keep coolant cool to maintain proper engine temperature
