In its most basic sense a when ever you pass a copper wire through a magnetic field you induce a current of electricity into the wire. This is what a generator does....it creates a magnetic field and turns a coil (called a rotor) inside of it. The current so induced is lead outside by wire and made to do usefull work.
it works.
what are real life design considerations that would apply to a wind generator
You can't generate Nx u can only buy it with real money
An electrical generator works by moving a coil of wire relative to a magnetic field.
Nope.
heck no
First you have to understand how a generator works. Basically the excitation voltage is what varies according to generator output. Usually on a power source that has a inconsistant rpm, the excitation voltage will vary similar to a govenor in order to hold the generator output constant.
Start the generator and check the voltage output at the receptacles on the generator with an AC volt meter.
yes
The voltage was produce by cutting of the magnetic flux by the conductors.
No it doesn't. I have it, and it no longer works.
You can buy a solar generator at Goal Zero or at their website. You can also build a solar power generator for under 300 dollars. The instructions are on the How Stuff Works website.
