spring drives a piston that pushes air
When you cock the rifle it compresses the gas behind a piston just like a spring. Basically it replaces the spring.
When the rifle is cocked, a spring is compressed. Pulling the trigger releases the spring, which pushes a piston forward, The piston compresses air as it moves. The compressed air blows the BB or pellet out of the barrel.
THAT DOESNT WORK BECUASE THEY ARE TWO DIFFRENT GUNS. AN AK47 IS AN ASSAULT RIFLE. A SNIPER IS A DIFFERENT KIND OF RIFLE.

To put back the spring on a Ted Williams Model 22 (a type of air rifle), first, ensure the rifle is unloaded and the safety is on. Disassemble the rifle by removing the stock and accessing the spring chamber. Carefully insert the spring back into the chamber, ensuring it is seated properly, and then reassemble the rifle, making sure all components are secure. Always refer to the manufacturer's manual for specific instructions and safety precautions.
