The dust commingled with rain after the storm. OR The diced apple, orange, and pear were commingled to create the fruit medley. Hope that helps!
Sorm is not a word. You likely are thinking of the word 'storm', which can include rain storm, ice storm, thunderstorm, dust storm, etc.
In a rain storm there is mostly rain, thunder, lightening, and very strong winds blowing in every direction. In a rain storm there can be hail if the clouds have enough water and are at a freezing temp. And if a storm is really bad there might be a tornado or a hurricane. Hope this helps.
Rain shower
A dust storm and and ice storm are two completely different things. A dust storm occurs when a strong wind occurs over an area with loose soil, usually a desert, creating a massive, fast-moving cloud of dust. An ice storm involves freezing rain which occurs when supercooled rain (rain that remains liquid below the freezing point) strikes the ground and other objects that are below freezing. These raindrops freeze on impact, coating everything they land on with a layer of ice. When a large amount of freezing rain falls it is called an ice storm. In these cases the weight of the ice can bring down tree limbs and power lines.
A storm with no rain
Not necessarily. Any strong wind that picks up loose sediment across an area can generate a dust storm. Many of these are not accompanied by precipitation. There is one type of dust storm, though, called a haboob, that is often produced by the outflow of a thunderstorm. Such haboobs may be followed by heavy rain.
