The flash of the White Tail is a warning to other deer that danger is present. Deer will allso "snort" "wheeze" and stomp the ground. The tail is a perfect sign- bright white can be seen from a long way in the forest.
Not usually. Deer is both singular (one) and plural (many). As is moose.Deers can be used as a plural form of the word deer. If there are several types of deers in the same area than you can use the plural, deers. For example, If there is a field full of mule deer then you use deer, but if there are a mix of mule deer and white tail deer, you would use deers.
Hunters call the deers tail standing up a "flag". White is very visible in the forest and can be seen for long distances. Deer use their tails to signal one another. When a deer is "spooked" or frightened it will raise it's tail to signal other deer in the group or area of danger.
the white tail deer is not endangered. The white tail deer population has gone up so fast hunters have a hard time to keep up with them. The population has gone up alot. In Nebraska there use to be only 300 to 500 deer in the 60s now there is 300,000 to 500,000 thousand deer. Although that may be true, Im doing a report and i searched that they are becoming endangered because their loss of habitat. Also due to human killing and dogs. There are more but your gunna call me a ten your old girl nerd. >:D
I believe that a .270 caliber, .308, .30-30, and .243 caliber rifles are great calibers to hunt deer with. I think that a .30-06 is just a bit overkill, but sometimes i will use that. i use eather a .270 or a .308 most of the time when i hunt white tail deer
