Wild horses find shelter under big trees and in caves or something related to that and try to stay out of sight of humans and other predators as best they can if the horse or horses are trying to escape a predator or anything related their instinct is to run and if that is not an option they use their legs to protect themselves by rearing,bucking and kicking depending on what they are frightend of the might try biting aswell.

No you do not have to have your own horse to find a wild horse. Wild horses are not located on any main isle i.e. one with banks, general store's, etc. but if you walk around any other isle long enough you will find a wild horse.

This depends on if your trying to buy one or just want to see one in the wild. If you are trying to buy one there are many wild horse associations and other wild horse rescues. Or if you are wanting to find some in the wild there are usually many in Wyoming.
