Air mass stability affects the type of weather that occurs along or ahead of a
front when one type of air mass overlies another. The air mass itself has very
little changes in temperature and humidity. An air mass is separated from an
adjacent body of air by a transition that may be sharply defined called a front.
The air mass is then determined by the type of front encountered. Prior to
passing of the front the temperature is warm, atmospheric pressure
decreased slightly, winds are south to southeast, there are showers and
cirrus and cirrostratus clouds changing later to cumulus and cumulonimbus
clouds. When the front comes in contact with the air mass there is sudden
cooling of air, the atmospheric pressure levels off then increases, winds are
variable and gusty, there is heavy rain or snow, sometimes even hail and the
clouds are now cumulus and cumulonimbus as mentioned earlier.

This will depend on the person and the weather conditions. If it is nice out, you will be able to see a longer distance ahead while if it is snowing or icy, you will need to go slower to be safe.

Visibility.
It really depends on how bad the weather is, if it is just all dark and gloomy because of storm clouds, then it will probably just affect your mood. However, if it is raining or snowing so bad you cannot see a couple of feet in front of you, then it would probably affect not only your mood, but also your perception due to not having the ability to see very far ahead of where you are going.
