electric braking works due to two laws, Lenz's law and Faraday's Law.

Faraday's law has to do with inducing an emf, when a disc on the axle is spun within a magnetic field, which is often created by an electromagnet we produce eddy currents.

These eddy currents are fairly random and produce "swirling" induced currents within the disc. The overall net effect of these eddy currents act in a way to appose the motion of the dick spinning in the magnetic field. This according to Lenz's law creates a force to counter act the disk spinning and slows the car.

Hence a breaking effect is achieved.

To install electric brakes, first remove the wheel. Then remove the dust cap, nut, and washer; this will be the place where you install the electric brakes.

What are the advantages of electric bicycle brakes compared to traditional mechanical brakes?

Electric bicycle brakes have the advantage of being more responsive and requiring less physical effort to operate compared to traditional mechanical brakes. They also provide more consistent braking power and can be easily adjusted for different riding conditions. Additionally, electric brakes can offer features such as regenerative braking, which helps to recharge the battery while slowing down.
