Ice will captor anything like animals, ash, etc. Let's say a volcanoe went off and ash went everywhere. Then the ash would settle on the ice, then ice would captor it and trap it in the ice. Scientists then can trace when the bomb went off. Ice will build layers over time and you could see the history of Earth.:)
An ice core provides information about Earth's history by capturing and preserving a record of past climate conditions. The ice layers contain air bubbles that trap atmospheric gases, such as carbon dioxide, which can be analyzed to understand past atmospheric composition. Additionally, isotopes of oxygen and hydrogen in the ice can reveal information about past temperatures and climate patterns.
idek what 2 say???
No, the core is hotter.
No. its the inner core!
The radious of the inner core is 1,220km(760miles).
No. Material cannot travel from the core to the crust.
Earth's core
The molten iron and medals inside the earths core are the reasons for the earths magnetic core.
no it is not true. there is solid iron and nickel in the Earths core
Earths core
No the earths core is not a cause of globel worming
The core is 33% of the Earths mass
You are already closer to the earths core than you will ever be able to get to the sun
Seismic data was used to estimate the radius of the Earths core. Inner = 1,221 km Outer = 2,259km Total = 3,480km Therefore an approximate diameter to the Earth core is 6,690 km or 4,325 miles. See related link for more information.
no
Yes.
The earths inner core is thought to be approximately 5778 K (5505 °C)
The earths magnetic field results from deep in the earths core. Magnetic conduction from within the earths core is believed to be the cause of this.
