make application to enter the US
An illegal immigrant is someone who, without permission, enters a country to live and work.
To keep it simple an illegal immigrant is someone who moved to the country from Another Country without the government's permission. They would have to hide in a container on a ship or swim there or something.
An "illegal immigrant" is any person who enters the country in violation of the nation's laws, or remains in the country without authorization to do so. This would include people who cross the borders without going through a Customs and Border Patrol checkpoint, or people who have temporary or tourist visas to come to the country, but remain in the country after their visas have expired.
An illegal immigrant leaves their country to go to another country without having the proper requirements for them to migrate to the other country, while the legal immigrant went through the correct process and filings to leave his country to migrate to the other country legally.
Commit some sort of felony and be deported...
An illegal immigrant can travel by plane from Miami to Puerto Rico. However, the illegal immigrant will most likely not be able to fly back without a passport from Puerto Rico.
He should be able to leave as long as he has his passport from that country.
It is illegal to refuse emergency medical service, even if the person is an illegal immigrant
If the immigrant is a true illegal (i.e. entered the country illegally/without inspection) even a marriage to a US citizen wont prevent him from facing possible deportation. Moreover, an immigrant CANNOT apply for citizenship, they must first apply for legal residency
No!
they can get caught by the cops and sent back to Mexico faster!!! :) The marine corps are part of the military and they have legal benefits in the U.S and are allowed to live in the U.S. An illegal immigrant is someone who is illegally allowed to live in any country or someone who has entered any country without confirmation from proper authorities. There are no benefits to joining the marine corps for a illegal immigrant because in order to join the marine corps you need to register and you need to show them a LEGAL U.S passport that identifies that you are allowed to be in the U.S. Illegal immigrants are illegal in any country because they do not have a passport. So if you were to go over to the marine corps and attempt to register they would realize that you are an illegal immigrant because you do not have a passport and then you would be sent back to whatever country you came from or you would be put in jail or a consequential illegal immigration center for a certain period of time until you are released and sent back to your country.
Generally, the term "illegal immigrant" refers to a person from Another Country who is presently in the United States without authorization to remain here. This includes anybody who is here intending to stay permanently or temporarily. It also includes anybody whose visa is not current - sometimes people enter without permission (sneaking across a border, for example), but many people do enter with a visa, but then the visa expires and the person continues to remain in the country. anyone who enters a country outside of the regulating Immigration laws of that country A+
